The mission of the One Another initiative is to continue to create an atmosphere at Eastern University where students take time to focus on and encourage one another. The life of a college student is characterized by words such as crazy, busy, and fun. Yet in the midst of the chaos it is easy to become overwhelmed and lose sight of who we are and we can often find ourselves feeling lost, confused and hopeless. The goal of One Another is to take time each week to step away from the chaos into a comfortable relaxed environment where we can be still. Where the insecurities and worries can be put aside and we can spend time with, pray for, and be encouraged by our brothers and sisters in Christ. The time set aside every Sunday night is a time to reflect, grow, encourage, celebrate, and recenter ourselves with who we are in Christ before the new week begins. No matter where you are in your faith all are welcome with one qualification; you must come with a compassionate heart, listening ears, and a desire to discover truth.

 

 

We want you exactly as you are. With all your flaws, burdens, and questions. And while we may not be able to answer them all, we will show you the love of Christ and you will leave encouraged.
